The wedding of Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer took place on Wednesday 29 July 1981 at St Paul's Cathedral in London, United Kingdom.

The ceremony was a traditional Church of England wedding service. The dean of St Paul's Cathedral, Alan Webster, presided at the service, and the archbishop of Canterbury, Robert Runcie, conducted the marriage. The United Kingdom had a national holiday on that day to mark the wedding. Their marriage was widely billed as a "fairytale wedding" and the "wedding of the century".

An estimated 750 million people watched the ceremony worldwide. The event was broadcast in 50 countries with near 100 television companies covering it. The wedding was widely broadcast on television and radio in many countries, and news channels covered the ceremony in different languages with near 100 television companies covering it.

The WeddingCast Diana Package is our most comprehensive coverage, mixing pure videography with live production. With three live videographers and a dedicated cinematographer, we prerecord a bunch of sequences for live play-down, such as bride and groom getting ready and venue introduction.

All this is edited together at the end for a thoroughly creative videography package that takes elements from our full graphics, customised look based on your existing wedding design, drone coverage and full audio. An equal treat for both your live stream viewers and yourselves for years to come.

The Diana Package is where our years of high end live television production come to the fore.  Nothing gets the WeddingCast team’s mouths watering like the Diana Package!

Thinking of the Diana Package?

Don't just take it from us...

"When COVID closed the NZ borders my husband and I couldn't decide whether to proceed with our wedding, my maid of honour and his best man were both in Australia and close friends and family were spread across the world. Instead of postponing/cancelling we got WeddingCast on board to live stream the day.

They are absolute pros at what they do. They brought in a large screen TV and set up two way communication so our maid of honour/best man could give their speeches in real time. We were so grateful to be able to have our overseas friends and family be a part of our day.

The entire live streamed footage is now available to us at any time, we have been able to watch it back and see all the little details that can sometimes be missed in a highlights reel. Nancy and Lewis are easy to contact and happy to help with any questions or concerns. The entire crew on the day were professional and discreet.

We can wholeheartedly recommend WeddingCast, they are the perfect addition to your wedding!"

We are so grateful to have had Wedding Cast on our wedding day which has allowed us to share the special day with our loved ones overseas.

It was one of the best decisions we have made for our wedding. They were fantastic to deal with from the start and very professional right till the end.

We were amazed looking back at the quality of the video and all our viewers overseas were equally impressed. Highly recommended! Special mention to Lewis for pulling this off even when stuck in Auckland’s lockdown. Thank you!
