The wedding of Prince William and Catherine Middleton took place on 29 April 2011 at Westminster Abbey in London, United Kingdom. The groom, Prince William, is second in the line of succession to the British throne. The bride, Catherine Middleton, had been his girlfriend since 2003.

The Dean of Westminster, John Hall, presided at the service; the Archbishop of Canterbury, Rowan Williams, conducted the marriage; Richard Chartres, the Bishop of London, preached the sermon; and a reading was given by the bride's brother, James. William's best man was his brother, Prince Harry, while the bride's sister, Pippa, was maid of honour. As Prince William was not the heir apparent to the throne, the wedding was not a full state occasion and many details were left to the couple to decide, such as much of the guest list of about 1,900.

The ceremony was viewed live by tens of millions more around the world, including 72 million live streams on YouTube. In the United Kingdom, television audiences peaked at 26.3 million viewers, with a total of 36.7 million watching part of the coverage. The royal wedding was also streamed live via the British Monarchy's official The Royal Channel.

With the WeddingCast Kate package we really ramp up the production coverage of your wedding live stream.  This is by far our most popular offering. With three cameras, we have all angles covered.

They often say that the television view is better than being there, and with the Kate Package it’s no different. We give your viewers a more comprehensive show, with drone shots (where permitted) and coverage of guest arrivals, we can truly showcase your venue and bring the viewers into the build-up so they can soak up the excitement like everyone who’s there in person.

"It was a pleasure working with the WeddingCast team leading up to and on our wedding day. The process was seamless, the team blended in around our guests easily and it was amazing to be able to share great quality live content of our ceremony with loved ones who couldn't be there in person. We can't wait to rewatch the footage over the years to come! 100% would recommend WeddingCast for couples who want to share their wedding day in real time around the world."
